漢字の風をイメージした記号を書いた。
荒れ狂う風と、それを守る窓がそのイメージだ。
しかし、風はその隙間に忍び込み、我々の生活をおびやかそうとしている。
自然と人間。それは、長きに渡り共生しているものの、実のところ永久に敵対するもの同士なのだと。
防風林や防風ネットなどの存在から、長い年月をかけて風と立ち向かう人間の姿を我々は見てきている。
KAZEは、実は地球を取り巻く渦なのである。地球規模の脅威の前で、我々にできることは実は少ない。
自然を示す曲線と、人智を示す四角は、永久に交わらない。
そんな記号として書いた作品。

I wrote symbols inspired by the Japanese character for wind.

KAZE is actually a vortex that surrounds the earth. In the face of global threats, there is not much we can do.
Curves, which represent nature, and squares, which represent human knowledge, will never intersect. I wrote this work as such a symbol.
